The University of Lagos (Nigeria’s University of First choice, and the Nation’s pride) has partnered with Carleton University, Canada and the SERS project to train and equip business start-ups and SMEs with both the academic and practical ‘know-how’ of scaling early, rapidly and securely towards the $1billion networth target witin 10 years.
This partnership is designed to foster transnational partnerships and business networking between entrepreneurs and investors in Canada and Nigeria as well as with other international partners. It utilizes the power of technology innovation to harness abundant talents and and opportunities and connect people and business entities with resourses that otherwise would not have been available or available for them to have far reaching local and international impact.
We believe that starting from the first Transnational Ventures Acceleration Program at the University of Lagos (TVAP-Unilag), this initiaive will spread across Africa and record amazing success stories of African businesses that have successfully scaled using the principles and resources aquired from the program and global network.
